East Bay Bass Guitar Lessons & Jamming
Most of my beginner bass guitar students are now reading music and rhythms and practicing with a metrenome. These beginner bass guitar students have reached the point where they want more “playing.”
I always recommend going throughout the East Bay Area to open night jam sessions and keep it simple. Just have down about 10 one bar or same as one measure bass patterns and get 5 of them down in all keys. Blues is fun and easy for anyone who is jamming with new musicians for the first time. I recommend bass students learn all patterns in key of A and or E, two very popular guitar keys and then learn how to transpose to any key.
So download the bass guitar pattern 1 pdf and take this bass guitar lesson slow at first. Listen to attached wav file at the bottom of this post. Always have fun and don’t hold back. If you a mistake, make it nice and loud and just keep playing, never stop once you’re 0n stage jamming with your awesome bass guitar.
Questions & inquiries always appreciated.
